Dear MCM,

Standard

It takes a strong man to acknowledge when he’s broken

It takes an even stronger man to move, as if he isn’t damaged

Everyday a new hurdle awaits you, as you leap over them

Breaking away from the mishap, trying to avoid the pain

But you can’t

You can’t seem to get it together, because all you want is, it together

But it’s not

It’s not the life that you wished it to be, but it is life

A life, with a purpose
A life, with a plan
A life, with a chance

A chance to wake up everyday & face the reality of life

My king, there is nothing bigger than you, there is nothing greater than you

You are what great is

But do you believe?

Do you believe that you are somebody?
Do you believe that you are extraordinary?

Look at all that you do
Look at the lives that you’ve changed
Look at the faces you’ve created

Still not sure?

Look at you

A black man
A strong black man
Simply, a black man

When the world is against you,
Break free black man
When the world is against you,
Break free black king
When the world is against you,
Break free
